Be careful what you wish for....My phone is missing! Not in my room, not in lost and found. Just no where to be found. I am quite certain that Bumbling Bumbilina pulled it out to check the time and dropped it somewhere and it probably ended up in the laundry somewhere.
No amount of searching the room, the hotel, the luggage I retrieved from the poor bell boy - not once - but twice and unloaded in the only place I could - the hotel lobby turned up my phone. Gone!
And so is the time to search for it. It is time for the closing worship service and our commissioning service. I am very excited! I am also very grateful that I double check the time for my flight. Worship began at 4:00, my flight leaves at 6:30!!
We rushed around and made arrangements and it is all worked out. I made it through the service, without falling off the stage. I was worried since I was the one leading the whole group out and had to stand on the edge of the stage. Pretty scary for Bumbling Bumbilina.
But all went well - I din't fall off the stage - it was a beautiful commissioning service and I had an escort waiting for me as I came down from the stage. She rushed me to the back of the gathering, out the door, flying through the hall, racing down the escalator to a skidding hault at the bell stand just long enough to grab my bags and run out the door to the waiting car! Whew! It was a race across town to the airport and we arrived with 45 minutes to spare - just long enough to check my bags and get them on the plane to Atlanta.
Stay tuned...there's more adventures of Bumbling Bumbilina to come...
