The High!
What a rush around to get up and finished packing and get the house finished before the realator gets here at 9 AM. It's great! The papers are all signed, the house is on the market, or will be in the afternoon, and even better, she thinks she can get what I need for it, even with all the work that needs to be done. God is Good!!
The Low!!
No can do. I wasted all that time getting ready for the realator and signing all those papers and she called back. She can't list the house. She doesn't think she can sell it for what I owe with all the work that needs to be done. Can't even rent it with the roof and siding in the shape they are in - too much liability. Bummer!! God is still good. I am sure he has a better plan. I am just having a hard time seeing it right now.
The Happy Toes!!
What's a girl supposed to do when the rug has been pulled out from under them? Call Annie of course! She is the rock star when you need your spirits lifted. And what a rock star day we had. A sympathetic shoulder to lean on, an awesome "grown up" lunch at a real restraunt, with adult conversation and no music blaring from the kitchen so loud you can't hear yourself think. And I didn't even have to wait on myself.
It's amazing what a good meal and good friend can do for your spirits. We even splurged on a real "girl" day and went and had our toes done. AHHHH! 30 minutes of blissful relaxation...and Happy Toes!!
